The results are in for the Condé Nast Traveler 2015 Readers’ Choice Awards, and we are honored to share that Rosalie Bay Resort has once again been named among the Top 40 Resorts in the Caribbean. In addition to celebrating our third appearance on the prestigious list, we are also the only resort on Dominica to receive recognition.
With a score of 90.693, our wellness resort earned the No. 10 spot in the entire region. In the 28th Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, more than 128,000 votes were cast. Resorts are rated based upon several categories: rooms, service, food, location, design and activities.
A Labor of Love
In describing Rosalie Bay, the editors at Condé Nast Traveler magazine say, “Built as a labor of love, this 28-room eco-enterprise is a master microcosm of Dominica: 22 acres of verdant grounds and a hotel blessedly free of pretension.”
Further, the Condé Nast Traveler team recognizes our sustainability efforts, “Controlling its environmental footprint, the resort uses wind turbine, solar panels, on-site water filtration, and Adirondack chairs made from recycled plastic. From March through October, guests can help monitor turtles nesting on the beach.”
We are excited to have received this honor and to be recognized for our resort’s continuous improvement. Thank you for your support!
