Christmas at Rosalie Bay 2022

Santa giving gifts

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

On Saturday, December 17, 2022, Rosalie Bay hosted a Christmas party for children from the communities of Grand Fond, Riviere Cyrique, Morne Jaune, and Laplaine. There were a total of 125 students, between the ages of 5-11 years, who came to visit with Santa and enjoy time at Rosalie Bay Eco-Resort & Spa. The children received small gifts from Santa donated by Rosalie Bay, played various games, and enjoyed many holiday delights.

After rousing games of musical chairs, painting faces, and dancing competition, the pinata was brought out! The children also enjoyed having their picture taken with a large ‘Merry Christmas’ picture frame.

Mrs. Claus was the resort’s very own Judy, and Santa Claus was played by our lovable security guard Mr. Lewis, also known as “Mr. Bow” by the children and local community. The children dubbed him Black Santa or “Blanta” this festive afternoon.

Our Chef and talented food and beverage team provided delicious holiday cupcakes, pizza, popcorn, chicken, sandwiches, candy, and juices for the children to keep them fueled for a day of merriment.
