Rosalie Bay Resort is proud to participate in Dive Fest, an annual on-island event to promote Dominica’s marine environment and responsible tourism.

Each year, we host “Family Fun Day” at our eco-resort and invite guests and the community to join in the fun.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from this year’s event.

Treasure Hunt

Younger guests familiarized themselves with the grounds of our nature resort, locating hidden treasures along the way.

Poolside BBQ

After the treasure hunt, guests refueled with grilled chicken and ribs, steamed fish, and side salads at Oscar’s Pool Bar.

Sea Turtle Talk

After lunch, it was time to talk turtles. Our sea turtle expert, Simon with NET Rosalie, hosted an educational session about turtle conservation. Guests learned about the three different species of endangered sea turtles that nest and hatch on our beach.

Sand Turtle Competition

Guests made their way to our black sand beach for a fun twist on the traditional sand castle building competition. Using what they could find in their surroundings, teams constructed their best sand turtle. Congratulations to the winning team!
