365 days of the year, Rosalie Bay Resort is a proud steward of the Earth, respecting and protecting its precious natural beauty. Earth Day is one of our favorite days of the year – when the rest of the world celebrates in unison the beauty around us.
Beach Clean-Up
To celebrate, Rosalie Bay is organizing a beach clean-up to keep the nesting grounds pristine for the endangered sea turtles who visit us this time of year. To ensure a strong turnout of volunteers, the event will be held over the weekend on Saturday, April 25th at 8:30 am.
As an eco-resort built with a passion for the environment, this green effort comes in the framework of our commitment to protect the planet’s natural beauty and resources and empower others to do the same.
Our Partners
This event will take place in partnership with Earth Day Network, Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) and the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA).
Participants of the beach clean-up will be students of the tourism club of the Dominica State College, children of the Operation Youth Quake (a charitable organization for young people in need in Dominica), DDA members and DHTA members.
Guests of Rosalie Bay are invited to participate and can sign up at the front desk.
