Bohemian Trails Discovers Dominica

Seeking an adventurous getaway? Megan Eileen McDonough of Bohemian Trails, “a blog designed for the savvy and stylish traveler,” recently ventured to Dominica to discover the nature and culture of the island.

With a “love for off the beaten path destinations,” Megan was pleased to find Dominica unique to any other place she had visited. “(Its) treasure lies in the people, the culture and the awe-inspiring nature found on the island,” she said.

When not busy whale watching, hiking the Waitukubuli National Trail or snorkeling Champagne Reef, she spent time enjoying the “remotebeauty of the island at our quiet nature resort. She appreciated the solitude found on our black sand beach while also having “many excursions at (her) disposal.

On your next visit to Rosalie Bay, follow Bohemian Trails’ “Five Adventures to Take in Dominica” to experience the island’s lush vegetation and nature. Or sign up for one of our many guided adventure tours.
