Welcome Laura, New Spa & Wellness Coordinator

Please join us in officially welcoming Laura Lund to the Rosalie Bay Resort team.

Laura traded the cold weather in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the US for tropical, nutrient-rich Dominica to become our new Spa & Wellness Coordinator. Laura will oversee the health and wellness offerings at Rosalie Bay Resort – working with the chef to create healthful menu offerings, overseeing Kalinago Spa, managing the daily yoga classes and fitness opportunities, and more.

With more than 20 years experience in wellness, Laura is well-qualified to lead the efforts at our wellness resort. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the College of Saint Catherine, received her yoga training and certification from the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Quebec, and trained to become a certified massage therapist at the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodyworks.

In her career, she has taught yoga and meditation classes, led nutritional workshops and as a leading skin and massage therapist, trained new spa employees. Laura is passionate about promoting health and wellness, and uses an integrated mind-body approach to motivate others to realize their full potential.

Dominica will be a great fit for Laura, as she loves leading an active, healthy lifestyle that includes swimming, hiking and yoga. Laura also loves the abundance of fresh whole foods found on Dominica. “Dominica is super magical. I love having access to the fresh coconut, herbs, fruits and vegetables,” says Laura. “Each plant has specific health benefits, and I look forward to using them more on the menus at the restaurant and at the spa.”

“I am very excited to be working at Rosalie Bay Resort,” she adds. “It is a great team of people who love their work and love sharing the island with visitors.”
