Rosalie Bay Anniversary – National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World

Unique Lodges of the WorldWith a new year, new celebrations are in order at Rosalie Bay Resort. This January, we are celebrating our one-year anniversary as a National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World charter member.

Last January we were one of just 24 charter properties on six continents, and the only member located in the Caribbean, to be a part of the program. The collection has since expanded to total 42 lodges.

The resorts, each located in spectacular places all over the world, are granted membership to this elite lodging group based on their property, quality of service and sustainability tourism best practices. Essentially, the beautiful accommodations and gourmet cuisine are just a small part of a much greater equation. We all share similar missions, where sustainability is the touchstone and the guest experience is exceptionally rich and meaningful.

It has been an honor for our eco-boutique resort to be established among this network of world-class accommodations. In 2015, we enjoyed welcoming new guests to the Nature Island through this program, and we look forward to sharing the beauty of Dominica with even more of you this year.

Thank you to our wonderful guests for your ongoing support as we continue to embark on this exciting journey. And congratulations to our fellow charter members, who we wish another successful year!

In 2016, we invite you to visit our wellness resort and discover how “staying” can be truly extraordinary.
