New One-Week Yoga Retreats for the New Year

Did you resolve to reduce your stress and improve your wellbeing in 2014? Our new one-week yoga-focused wellness retreats may be just the answer to help you achieve your New Year’s resolutions.

In fact, ABC News named our Yoga Retreats among their picks for “Resolution-Worthy Travel Adventures for 2014.” As writer Lena Katz says, “After all, they say self-improvement is all about the journey.” We couldn’t agree more.

2014 Yoga Retreats

Yoga Retreat at Rosalie Bay Resort, DominicaJoin our on-site Wellness Coordinator and Yoga Instructor Laura Lund for one week of tuning into your mind, body and soul as well as nature – while tuning out stress and the busy world. Choose from two date options – February 23 – March 1 or March 23 – 29, 2014.

The week-long retreat will include daily yoga classes as well as active pursuits to explore the beauty of the Nature Island of Dominica. Excursions include hiking some of the 300 miles of trails to see rainforests or swim under waterfalls, snorkeling in the famous Champagne Reef, and visiting the natural healing hot springs.

There will also be time to relax, swim in the onyx-lined saltwater pool, and meditate by walking in our labyrinth, nature paths, black sand beach or sitting in one of the many outdoor meditation spots.

The Feed Your Soul Retreat includes all of the activities, seven nights in cottage-style accommodations, all meals featuring healthy and organic cuisine, airport transfers and a relaxing massage in the new riverfront spa.

Package pricing begins at $2,700 for single occupancy or $4,025 for double occupancy including all the above as well as taxes and service charges.

Help yourself and endangered sea turtles

In addition to improving your well being, yoga retreat guests also have the opportunity to help endangered sea turtles.

Dates for the retreat coincide with the launch of sea turtle season, which begins in March. Participate in our sea turtle conservation efforts by helping patrol the beaches for nesting sea turtles and aiding researchers in collecting data.
